Guest Blog Post Guidelines for Chihuahua Power
Write for Chihuahua Power. Thank you for your interest in contributing to our chihuahua-focused blog! To maintain the quality and relevance of our content, we have established some guidelines for guest blog posts. Please read through the following criteria before submitting your post:
Topic Relevance
All guest posts must be directly related to chihuahuas, or topics closely associated with them.
We would not accept content that promotes the use of gadgets, adverses or balanced training methods. We don’t advocate dressing up chihuahuas and don’t publish content promoting this.
We don’t accept content from breeders promoting the sale of puppies but will consider rescue posts by prior arrangement.
We promote healthy fresh feeding and holistic well-being. We don’t promote vegetarian and vegan dog food.
Ensure that your content aligns with the overall theme and purpose of our blog, which is to provide valuable and informative content to chihuahua owners and enthusiasts.
Originality
Content must be original and not been published elsewhere, including your own blog or any other platform.
Plagiarism or the use of content that violates copyright laws is strictly prohibited.
Article Length
The preferred article length is between 800 to 1500 words.
Longer articles may be considered if the content justifies the length.
Writing Quality
Please make sure posts are proofread.
The writing style should be engaging, informative, and conversational to keep our readers interested.
Formatting
Use subheadings, bullet points, and numbered lists to improve the readability of the article.
Images
Include relevant images, that don’t violet any other person’s copyright. Photos need to be high quality and landscape orientation. Don’t include harrowing or upsetting images.
Citations and Reference
If you include statistics, research findings, or any information, please cite credible sources and provide references where applicable.
No Promotional Content
Guest posts should not be promotional in nature. Avoid direct promotion of products, services, or businesses, including self-promotion or affiliate links.
You can include a brief author bio at the end of the post with a link to your personal blog or social media profiles.
Respectful Tone
Be respectful of our readers and the chihuahua community. Avoid offensive language, controversial topics, or any content that may be deemed inappropriate.
Submission Process
In the first instance please send a short pitch that outlines your article to [email protected] and put ‘Guest Post’ in the subject line. We will review your pitch and respond within 5 days.
When submitting please send your guest post as a Word document or Google Docs link to [email protected] .
Editing
We reserve the right to edit the content for clarity, structures and adherence to our guidelines while preserving the author’s voice and intent.
We may also include relevant internal links to our previous blog posts.
